I’m super stoked with my new Hardcore Hammers Raptor axe! The machining of the head is incredible, the engraving is superb and the sheath is excellent quality. The handle, although very good quality, is a little thicker than I prefer. I’m old school and like a slender handle. No worries, I ran it on my belt sander and made it perfect for me. It swings like a dream and chops like a good axe should. Overall I’m very happy! Keep up the great work, it’s nice to see American workers producing excellent quality tools again!

It's light and compact enough that you can use the pick for picking up and maneuvering logs without strain or fatigue. The pick is well designed and makes grabbing logs and split wood really easy while also being easy to take out. The blade comes evenly sharp which is nice with a good edge polish, and the geometry really bites in both green and seasoned wood. The handle is solid and the head is tight. I'd highly recommend. Hope they make a version with the blade designed for splitting.
