minimal effort on dryish wood and it blazes right through. i bought the leather collar as well and think you'd be silly not to with scorching hot days and fatigue my doods...anyhow, highly recommend

I’m super stoked with my new Hardcore Hammers Raptor axe! The machining of the head is incredible, the engraving is superb and the sheath is excellent quality. The handle, although very good quality, is a little thicker than I prefer. I’m old school and like a slender handle. No worries, I ran it on my belt sander and made it perfect for me. It swings like a dream and chops like a good axe should. Overall I’m very happy! Keep up the great work, it’s nice to see American workers producing excellent quality tools again!
